The Laurel Oak Estate: Events Your Way


Celebrate life’s special moments in a setting that combines timeless elegance with natural charm. The Laurel Oak Estate offers a picturesque outdoor venue perfect for intimate gatherings, with space to comfortably accommodate up to 70 guests, depending on the style of your event.


To host an event at the Estate, guests are required to reserve the entire Laurel Oak Inn for a minimum of two nights. This exclusive rental allows you to create a private, personalized experience while providing overnight accommodations for up to 16 of your guests.

Whether you’re planning a wedding, reunion, or special celebration, Gainesville is home to many talented event planners who can help coordinate rentals, decor, catering, staffing, and cleanup. Prefer to do it yourself? That’s perfectly fine too!


Please note: The Laurel Oak Estate is rented as a short-term vacation rental and does not include on-site staff during your event.

Create Your Memorable Wedding

An intimate wedding, like its name suggests, will typically include a guest list of up to 50 guests—often immediate family and close friends only.


Rent the entire property for 2 nights and have the wedding of your dreams. You will be in charge of your own event. Simply book the estate directly on our website. Not only can you host an event, but up to 16 of your guests can stay at the estate.


We also have the option to include our sister property (directly next door), the Camellia Rose Mansion, for larger weddings. The Camellia Rose Mansion also has 7 bedrooms and a large lawn.

Though small in guest count, an intimate wedding differs from both a minimony and an elopement. While an elopement typically involves only the couple and a witness, an intimate wedding is a beautiful cross between an elopement and a traditional wedding –  the perfect compromise to suit your style.
